Nanci-jean is the Vice President and co-founder of KND Licensed Electrical Contracting & Services, Corp., a certified Women-Owned business. As Vice President and Secretary, she oversees the daily administrative duties. She is heavily involved in business development for the firm. She is also responsible for Insurance, Project Management, and Financial Administration.
Working in tandem with her partner, Kristine DeNapoli and senior leadership team, Nanci-Jean DeNapoli is a recognized name in the electrical contracting industry. She brings a broad background in business, environmental and safety best practices to her practice.
Prior to joining KND Electric, Nanci-jean worked in the accounting field for almost 10 years. She is a LEED Green Associate, has certificates in OSHA approved Crane Operators Safety, 3M Fiber Optics, Datacom Textron LANcat Systems.
Additionally, Nanci-jean is an active Board Member of the Women Builders Council, Inc., where she participates on the organization’s public policy committee and its Insurance Task Force. She is also active in other industry organizations, including Professional Women in Construction, National Association of Women Business Owners, Regional Alliance as well as electrical industry associations including New York Electrical Contractors Association and Long Island NECA.
Nanci-jean is a strong and active industry advocate, championing issues such as rising insurance costs and better procurement practices for all construction industry partners.
Nanci-jean DeNapoli’s education began at the SUNY College at Delhi and St. John’s University in Queens. Currently, she is attending the SUNY Empire State College and will be receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Labor Studies.
